"Where do you get your ideas?" is a question Joe is often asked.  This class is about some of the ways and means of his approaches to quiltmaking and quilt design.  Using clear, simple exercises, students will make a small quilt during each of the two days.  By the end of class you will know some of Joe's favorite techniques and each quilt will be completely different.

SUPPLIES
Sewing machine in good working order
Basic sewing supplies i.e. scissors, pins, seam ripper, thread etc...
Extension cord
Optional:  Rotary cutter, mat and rulers

1/4” Bias tape and matching thread (3 packs).  Stitch will have a variety of colors of bias tape on the roll for you to purchase by the yard. 

At least six yards of fabric, including fabrics that contrast strongly.  Please, do not bring fabrics from a single collection.  You need diversity to make this work.
