Quilters Yard Sale
We hear this question repeatedly, "I just don't know what to do with all the stuff I have and I'm never going to use. I have so much fabric and patterns and.....blah, blah, blah" Ladies, if you're not going to use it and you no longer love it then now is your chance to grab your overflow stash, machines, tools, patterns and books and sell it to someone who will. Seriously, channel Maria Kondo and unload the stuff that's bogging you down, making your feel guilty and taking up space in your sewing room and in your head!
Here's how our yard sale is going to work:
Stitch will provide the space, tables and chairs. You provide the rest: goods to sell, cash bag, change etc... We'll have individual booths set up in the classroom and outside in our back delivery area. You can sell anything quilt/sewing/knitting/crafting related. If you're truly interested in making some cash then price things to sell, and we don't recommend your bringing goods that belong at the thrift store i.e. the fabric you've had in your stash since 1982. Truth!
If you're interested in participating, you'll be required to rent a 4' table for $25 or an 8' table for a $50 fee. Need more than one table or a combination of both, no problem! The goods you sell must fit on the table you reserve, and not extend to the areas around you. The money you make selling your wares is yours to keep. Feel like bargaining, that's up to you.
