Color and texture, warm and cool, reflective and absorbing, all the properties and moods of color in fabric will be explored using actual fabric swatches to design a color wheel and color study wall hanging.Learn to use color more freely, following what looks right to you, not what the text tell you should be. A more emotional way to work with color. The color swatches consist of all types of fabrics, from cottons, blends and everything in between.

Requirements:
20" square solid white fabric to use as a pin-up surface. ( muslin, batting, felt, etc.)

fabric squares: go through your fabrics and cut, 2 1/2 inch squares of each color. Cut as many
squares as you like. (You will personally use at least 100 squares.) But you need lots of choices in value and color. Use fabrics of all colors and all fiber contents (tone on tone works best).
Rotary cutting ruler with the 60 degree line on it.
Scissors
Camera the one on your phone will work just fine.
