Scrap Busting
Do you have a pile of scraps you don't know what to do with? Well, we have two fun projects to introduce you to made exclusively from scraps! In our Scrap Busting class we'll walk you through making a hexi-hot pad AND show you how to craft improvisationally (without a pattern) log cabin blocks using nothing but your scraps. This is going to be a day of sewing fun!
| Requirements: | A sewing machine in good working condition with a 1/4" piecing foot; Basic sewing supplies i.e. pins, needle, thread, scissors; A variety of scrap fabrics (minimum 2" wide); Insulbrite batting if you want your hot pad heat resistant, otherwise, scrap batting; Rotary cutter and small cutting mat; A desire to work improvisationally. |
