Japanese Rice Bag
This is a perfect project to use up all those extra scraps of fabric and add your own unique style. You can be as simple or complex as you’d like. And it is fully reversible! The perfect size to carry around your latest knitting project, or use it as a lunch tote!
| Requirements: | Basic sewing machine in good working order. Basic sewing supplies: scissors, pins, marking pencil, pattern, rotary cutter and ruler. You'll need 1/4 yard of fabric for the interior of the bag, and 1/4 yard of fabric for the exterior, if you do not want to piece the exterior portion of the bag. In addition, bring a variety of fabrics to embellish or create the exterior bag panel. |
