Are you ready to jump on the quilted coat craze?  The Tamarack Jacket is the perfect quilted coat project.  Complete it with or without a hood. Attendance at all sessions is highly recommended.

This is an advanced beginner project.
Requirements:
Pattern Exterior and lining fabric according to the pattern Muslin according to the size of the pattern you are making for a sample jacket to test for size. Batting (high quality) Pattern Ease 2 3/4 yards (available at Stitch) 1/2 yard of fabric to be used for binding your jacket. A fat quarter that matches your lining fabric. Or if you prefer, 7 yards of 1/2" wide binding. Basic sewing notions i.e. pins, wonder clips, marking tools in a variety of colors, seam gauge, dress maker shears and sharp smaller scissors. Thread that matches the outer fabric and lining fabric. This is likely two different colored spools of thread. 1/4 yard of fusible interfacing Fabric for binding Marking pens in a variety of colors Snaps or hook and eye closures. Machine in good working order. Feet to go with your machine: 1/4" foot, zig zag foot and an edgestitch foot. A walking foot is also useful. ALL SUPPLIES ARE AVAILABLE AT STITCH.
