Pillow: Circles All Around
This is a technique filled class! We're going to cover applique, piecing, quilting and inserting a zipper - whew! The end result is going to be this adorable pillow.
Some pre class work will need to be completed prior to class. If there's enough interest, we'll help you accomplish this on Friday, July 19th, at no extra charge. The time of class on Friday will be determined by what works best for those registered.
| Requirements: | Basic sewing machine in good working order. (1) fat quarter (18"x22") of muslin (1) fat quarter of batting (1) 22" zipper Miscellaneous fabric for background pieces (enough to make (36) 4" squares) Miscellaneous fabric for appliqued circles (enough to cover (36) squares) 1/2 yard of backing fabric Applique foot for your machine 3/4 yard of Heat n' Bond or Steam-a-Seam Basic sewing supplies and thread. |
