The swirling blocks in Blue Onion are made from a variety of contrasting prints.  To change it up - make them out of any 12 contrasting prints that you like.  The arcs are long and gentle making them easy to sew.  Work with six different prints at a time to make one set of blocks.  This makes it easy to make more, just add to the mix in sets of six additional rectangles for six additional blocks.  Or, take a practice run with six rectangles and turn it into a table runner.  Enjoy!
