| Job Description : We're growing, and are looking to add another person to our sales team. This is a part-time position. We're looking for someone who emulates the characteristics Stitch has become known for: happy, positive, helpful and energetic. Sewing and quilting skills are required, sales experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. Please stop in for an application. Job Description: The associate will be responsible primarily for providing exemplary customer service, including aiding in fabric selection and measurements, cutting fabric off the bolt, and checking out customers in the point of sale (POS). Other duties will include receiving and maintaining inventory, restocking shelves, creating item displays and seasonal displays, basic cleaning, and other duties as requested. Job Requirements Retail experience, especially in a small business environment is a plus. We're looking for a self-starter who can get the job done expertly and efficiently. Experience with computer programs ie point of sale system, Microsoft word and excel, and email is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person. Physical Requirements This can be a physically demanding job, the ability to stand the duration of a shift is necessary; Able to lift 30lbs.Use of rotary blades requires repetitive movement in the wrists and hands. |
